Hepatitis A Vaccines Increase

As more cases of Hepatitis A continue to be confirmed across Kentucky, doctor’s offices, clinics and pharmacies are noticing a surge in patients trying to get vaccinated.New cases were reported last week at a Hardee’s and Waffle house in Lexington, along with a Waffle house and an Applebees in Winchester.This week an Owsley County school worker and a Bauer’s Candies worker in Anderson county were diagnosed with the virus.That’s why many businesses and schools are making the vaccine mandatory. Local health officials are also urging everyone to get vaccinated.
