Heritage Harvest Tour

The Heritage Harvest Tour is a self-guided driving tour between Boyd County and Lawrence County.This is the 9th year for the event.Many say there are history lessons hidden within the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.”Hopefully they learn something they can tell their friends,” said Laura Maggard with the Lawrence County Extension Office. “It’s an education thing. Maggard says a good lesson is not the only thing this tour brings.”So in one weekend, the farm owners and the churches brought in around $50,000,” Maggard pointed out.
