High School Students Helping Out In Eastern KY

A group of high schoolers from Nebraska are on a service trip to Kentucky. The group paired with the Housing Development Alliance in Hazard to build and remodel homes for those in need.”This is a great group of kids. These kids they are very caring and they’re just I can’t say enough good things about them. Give them a job and they’ll get it done,” said sponsor Tammie Nowka.One group is spending the week in Hazard building a new porch for an elderly woman. The porch will have ramps and railing to prevent her from falling. The group will be here through this week.
