Honoring Organ Donors

The Letcher County Court Clerk is honoring local organ donors by putting their picture on a wall in the County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. They are calling it the “Hero Wall.”“I do think that will maybe make a difference for someone,” said Jan Tackett who is the mother of an organ donor.”Letcher County Court Clerk Mike Watts also had the faces of donor recipients put on the wall.“If it wasn’t for my organ donor Michael, I wouldn’t be here today,” said Brooklyn Dotson, who had a liver transplant when she was 18 months old.
