Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson is coming to Louisville today as part of the Book Rich Environments program.The program, which partners the departments of Housing and Urban Development and Education with the National Book Foundation and other nonprofits, aims to eliminate “book deserts” in the United States by giving books to children living in low-income areas, according to a press release for the event.
