Hundreds Turn Out for ‘Night to Shine’ In Hazard

Nearly 500 people came out last night in Hazard for the second annual Night to Shine, a prom for those with special needs.

Friends and family joined as the dancers walked out to the stage along a red carpet.

Those taking part were able to make use of makeup and shoe shine stations as well as food and music to dance the night away.

A Night to Shine is a national event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Locally, it was put on by volunteers from Journey Christian Church.
