Icy Conditions In Eastern KY

It is that time of year when the rain turns into snow and sometimes even ice.Wolfe County is under a Winter Weather Advisory through this morning.A low-pressure system is expected to bring a wintry mix and possibly some ice overnight. “Ice is something you can’t do much with,” said Ronnie Harvey, the Highway Technician Assitant at the Highway Department in Wolfe County. The Highway Department also reminds people that ice is almost impossible to drive on.”There is no control in ice. I mean it’s very very hard to control a vehicle in ice,” said Harvey.
