Impeachment Enters Gubernatorial Campaign

The Kentucky Governor’s race is now a debate over the impeachment of President Trump. Governor Matt Bevin wants his Democratic challenger Attorney General Andy Beshear to offer his viewpoint on the House’s plans to conduct an impeachment inquiry after a whistleblower complaint claimed Trump used his power to get Joe Biden’s son investigated by the Ukranian government. Beshear issued a statement saying if the House moves forward it should do so in a nonpartisan way and focus on facts and evidence.
