Jenny Wiley Festival Happening

With the coronavirus pandemic scrapping festivals such as Hillbilly Days and the Kentucky Apple Festival, Prestonsburg is continuing to plan for this year’s Jenny Wiley Festival.Plans for the festival are expected to be hammered out next week, but Mayor Les Stapleton says this year’s festival will not look like past years. He says the concert will have to be moved to a different venue, so people have a lot more room to spread out. Things will be spread out a lot more in town. There will be hand-sanitizing stations.”The Jenny Wiley Festival is set to take place Oct. 7-10.
