Johnson County Animal Shelter Needs Help

The Johnson County animal shelter is raising money to help them get through the winter. On Sunday the shelter hosted a chili dinner-gospel sing.Lisa Trusty-Roberts, shelter president and manager, said the event benefits a good cause.”We are hoping it will just grow year to year. This is our second one so hopefully this will just grow,” said Trusty-Roberts. She adds money is needed during a time the shelter has seen a recent influx of animals.
