Keeping You And Your Holiday Packages Safe

Ahead of Black Friday, thought to be the busiest shopping day of the year, Lexington Police have some tips to keep you and your gifts safe this holiday season. They warn it may not be enough to put shopping bags in the trunk while you continue shopping. [Thieves] watch you put those items in your trunk, then as soon as you walk away, they go bust out the window, pop your trunk lever, and then those items are taken at that point. And, if you are shopping online its recommended packages either be sent to your workplace or have a friend or neighbor be at your house to sign for them.
