Kentucky Education Shake-Up

Following a decision by the Kentucky Court of Appeals to deny an injunction filed by the ousted members of Kentucky’s Board of Education on Thursday, the group filed an emergency appeal with the Kentucky Supreme Court.The group wanted to prevent a meeting between the new members appointed by Governor Andy Beshear. The new appointees want to replace Education Commissioner Dr. Wayne Lewis, according to a report from the Lexington Herald-Leader.
