Kentucky Up to 831 COVID-19 Cases, 37 Deaths
Friday’s news conference from Governor Andy Beshear came as Kentucky’s number of coronavirus cases more than doubled in one week.
Beshear announced 90 new cases of COVID-19 and six new deaths, bringing Kentucky’s total to 831 and 37, respectively.
State officials also released a new projection from the Kentucky Department of Public health that said the commonwealth could see up to 4,700 deaths if social distancing is not followed.
