KY Basketball Fans Mourn

Kentucky fans on State Street were wanting to have a celebration, instead there was defeat. Lexington police were prepared for either outcome but after the loss, there were few problems after the Univeristy of Kentucly’s loss to Auburn in the Elite 8 in the NCAA bracket.As the game ticked down stop signs were taken down, streets were closed, and dozens of officers stood ready in riot gear. After the game ended many simply left their homes and walked. Lexington police say that most of the after game mourning was done peacefully and they did not have to make any arrests.
