KY Climber Hosting Special Climbing Event

A Kentucky climber and engineer is hosting an interesting climbing competition next weekend in the Red River Gorge in Muir Valley on October 11th and 12th. Rick Weber says he was inspired by President Donald Trump’s Press Conference at the Border, during which he said the wall being built would be “impossible to climb.” Weber built a structure to emulate the President’s design of parallel posts with a plate on top.Weber and several other climbers believe someone in Kentucky will be able to reach the top, despite the President’s claim that 20 experienced climbers have tried and no one reached the top.
