KY Draws Awareness To Domestic Violence
October marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Tuesday at the state capitol in Frankfort dozens of people showed up to raise awareness and remember those who were killed as a result of domestic violence.The Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence, which helps provide funding for 15 programs across the state, were front and center. Its members believe lawmakers could aid in efforts to reduce cases of domestic violence across the Commonwealth.
