KY Governor Declares State Of Emergency

KY Governor Matt Bevin’s office is announcing his official declaration of a State of Emergency across Kentucky in response to heavy rainfall, which has caused flooding and infrastructure damage.Counties across the state have made similar moves in the past week in hopes of receiving critical money to help fix vital infrastructure.Across Eastern Kentucky mudslides and flooding have damaged roads, homes, water systems and much more.The executive order enables the mobilization of state resources as needed.
