KY Has Several Thousand Hepatitis A Cases
The number of hepatitis A cases is nearing 2,000 across the state of Kentucky.Described by health officials as one of the worst outbreaks in years is now popping up in various jails across the area, one of the most recent being multiple cases confirmed at the Three Forks Regional Jail in Lee County. All of the inmates and staff are now vaccinated alongwith the Kentucky River Regional Jail, Leslie County and Lether County to date as well as Hickory Hills Rehab Center.
