KY Receives Energy Grants
Grants from the U.S. Department of Energy have been awarded to nine projects in Kentucky, state officials said.The projects aim to support education, reduce the energy burden in poor communities and improve energy security, Gov. Andy Beshear and Energy and Environment Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Goodman said Wednesday in a statement.The federal agency provided more than $600,000 for the projects, state officials said.
