Laurel Co. High School Coach Under Police Investigation

Laurel County school officials confirmed on Friday that there is an active police investigation into a high school coach.

Yesterday, Laurel County School District Superintendent Doug Bennett released a statement that read, in part, “There has been an allegation of inappropriate conduct…it was reported to local law enforcement and they are conducting an investigation. We are conducting an administrative investigation as well. The coach has been suspended from employment pending the results of the investigation.”

School officials have not named the coach.
