Laurel County Showcases Economic Growth

During the last year, Laurel County has seen economic growth, including multiple new businesses. Monday afternoon, a community forum with a focus on the local economy was held with some officials from Frankfort in hopes of showcasing businesses in the region.The event was put on by officials with the London-Laurel County Industrial Development Authority. They said one of the main reasons for London’s growth is the ability to take advantage of the area and are open to attracting more businesses to the area, too.
