Lexington House Fire Causes Death And Damage
Two pets were killed in a Lexington house fire where three people were able to escape. The fire started just before 2 a.m. Tuesday on Monticello Boulevard, off Clays Mill Road. Word is the fire started in a bedroom who was able to safely get two younger siblings out of the home. Unfortunately, two cats died in the fire. A firefighter was also injured. A battalion chief said the firefighter suffered a cut on the arm and was taken to the hospital to receive stitches.
