Making Halloween Special For Special Needs Kids

It’s almost Halloween and for some special needs kids, trick-or-treating when the rest of the community does isn’t always doable. To make up for missing out on the big night, Eli’s Hope and the City of Hyden stepped in to give special needs kids their very own Halloween by hosting a trunk-or-treat party in the parking lot behind City Hall Thursday.Local businesses and community members helped out and brought about 75 trick-or-treat bags for the children. The local Shriners pitched in and provided lunch for everyone.
