Miners Waiting For Paychecks
Blackjewel miners say they are ready to go home after spending 6 weeks protesting on train tracks in Cumberland.Miners say they never expected they would be on the tracks for six weeks when they started. One miner says the days are hot and the nights are cold, but the miners will not leave without their paychecks.The miners say they are feeling optimistic as well as another court hearing rolls around on Wednesday in Charleston, West Virginia.Miners say they are thankful for the continued support and ask for prayers more than anything going into Wednesday.
