National Drug Summit With Ties To KY

The National Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit will have numerous federal leaders present next week, including President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.The summit works toward better policies and practices to address the national opioid abuse crisis. The four-day conference takes place April 22-25 in Atlanta, Georgia.More than 3,500 people are expected to attend. The conference was first organized by Operation UNITE, a non-profit based out of southeastern Kentucky. This will be the summit’s eighth year.
