Operation Christmas Child In KY

Several local churches are working around the clock to make sure kids across the world have a very merry Christmas.Samaritan’s Purse is a national organization and works with churches around the country to pack up toys, hygiene items, and stories about Jesus into a shoebox. All of the boxes are then packed up and brought to children living in poverty in more than 100 countries. One boy packing up items into a shoebox at the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg describes the gifts as Jump-ropes, stuffed animals, toothbrushes, cars, and paper. This project also focuses on spreading the word of God.
