Owners Lose Everything In Perry County Fire

Crews battled a house fire in Perry County Wednesday afternoon. The fire was in the Avawam community on Old Hwy 80. The road was shut down for a while but is back open. No one was inside at the time of the fire but people who lived there say they lost everything.”All my kids stuff, all the stuff we worked for everything lost in just one day,” said Joey Nix. “Stuff they can’t get back, replaced, pictures, memories, everything is gone.”
