Perry County Protects From Secondhand Smoke

Perry County officials moved to protect people from secondhand smoke.The Fiscal Court recently passed a smoke-free ordinance.Health officials said the ordinance means no smoking, including e-cigarettes, within 15 feet of any public door or window, or inside any public workplace.The ordinance is effective immediately.The City of Hazard did the same thing a few years ago.
