Person In Traffic Accident ID’d

Officials have released the name of the person who died on the Hal Rogers Parkway Monday morning.The Perry County Coroner identified the man as Delbert Whitehead, 55, of Leslie County. He was pronounced dead at Hazard ARH.Whitehead was an employee for the City of Hyden for 31 years. The city released a Facebook post about his death Monday night.While the investigation continues authorities say the slick road conditions probably was a factor in the accident.
