Pharmacist Operating In KY Found Guilty
A pharmacist operating Buffalo Drug Inc. in Buffalo, W. Va. was found guilty on Tuesday of conspiring to dispense and distribute oxycodone and oxymorphone.Officials say Jackson Noel dispensed the pills from the pharmacy to out-of-state customers including people from Kentucky. Noel sold the pills on a cash-only basis.According to the indictment, Noel began distributing the drugs in June of 2015 through December of 2016 in Pike County, Ky.He will be sentenced in December of 2019 and faces up to 20 years in prison as well as a $1 million fine and at least three years of supervision after release.
