Phone Scam In Eastern KY

Officials from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office are warning people in the community about a phone scam.Deputies say people are getting called from the phone number (606) 200-3748.When people answer the phone, officials say the man on the line tells them someone at their home has a warrant out for their arrest. The man then tells people they need to pay money to take care of it.Officials from the Sheriff’s Office say they will never call anyone’s home and ask for money.
