Pike Co. Woman Charged in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

A Pike County woman has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal crash last month.

Back on October 19th, 29-year old Kimberly Owens struck and killed a motorcycle rider, 20-year old Lamont Wright.

Toxicology results are not back yet, but Pike County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Bartley said there was enough evidence to indict Owens.

Police said Owens made an illegal u-turn in front of the bike, causing the crash.
