Pike County Woman Charged With Arson

A Pike County woman has been charged with 3rd-degree arson after setting fire to a building in Fedscreek, Kentucky.According to the arrest citation, Kentucky State Police dispatch was notified of a building fire at 2221 Motley Rd on Aug. 17. The citation states that Joyce Wolford spoke with dispatch and that her granddaughter, Amy Wolford, 38 of Fedscreek, had set fire to the building and was traveling up and down the roadway.KSP trooper Turner said that after making contact with Joyce, she advised that Amy had mental health issues and made comments about the building burning down such as “I can’t sleep” and “this house is going to burn down”.
