Pikeville Chili For Kids

Some people in Pikeville say Saturday’s weather was perfect for a bowl of chili.The MineShaft Harley-Davidson Shop teamed up with Hillbilly Christmas in July to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children.This year, Hillbilly Christmas in July raised around $60,000 for the hospital.Those who entered their chili in the cook-off say they are cooking chili for the children. Allison Powers entered her husband’s chili in the cook-off.”Whether it’s making chili or donating money or time, I think it’s something that’s really important for us all to do,” said Powers.
