Pikeville Rockslide Damages Business, Cars in Nearby Parking Lot

A major rockslide Friday morning damaged at least one business in Pikeville.

Police were called to Road Tested Wrecker Service on South Mayo Trail early yesterday and found a pine tree had fallen right next to the business’ office.

The tree fell in the middle of the night Thursday into Friday, so no one was injured in the incident.

Several cars were damaged, and a pair of vehicles belonging to Pikeville Medical Center were trapped under rocks.
