Power Outages In The Area
The harsh weather in the area is causing all sorts of problems on the roads and for residents. Hundreds of people are in the dark right now across the mountains with several power companies reporting outages.Kentucky Power is reporting outages in Pike, Knott and Perry County.Jackson Energy is reporting more than 100 people without power in Clay County.Big Sandy RECC has more than 800 customers in the dark in Floyd County.
