Pratt Mountain Road (Highway 1165) Closed Until Further Notice

Highway 1165 in Perry County, or Pratt Mountain Road, is now closed until further notice.

A break in the roadway appeared yesterday about one mile off Kentucky Route 7.

The 150-foot break was deemed unsafe for travel by state officials.

WYMT-TV reports crews plan to bring in a drill rig and railroad steel next week, but the project is expected to take at least two weeks to complete.
