Regional Recovery Center Opening

A group active in the fight against drug addiction in Kentucky’s largest city is planning to open a regional recovery center in Appalachia.Jennifer Hancock, president and CEO of Volunteers of America Mid-States, says the group hopes to open a residential treatment program in Clay County this summer.Hancock says the program will house up to 20 women and their children. She says the goal is to expand services to include transitional housing and work reentry services.
