After years of treading through issues with its water quality and rates, the Martin County Water District announced a new plan that aims to bring stability to the community.“I mean, I’ve been in this fight since 2000,” said concerned citizen Nina McCoy. “So, I’ve been trying to get the citizens’ voices heard. Saying, ‘There’s something wrong with our water. We don’t trust our water.’”Those concerns and the requests from the Public Service Commission were brought to the table Wednesday when members of the Martin County Water District gathered to announce a new partnership with Alliance Water Resources.
