Roadwork With Closures In Leslie County

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say a Leslie County road will close briefly for repairs.Starting Wednesday at 8 a.m. a portion of KY 2058 will close between Spruce Pine Creek Road and Lonesome Mountain Lane.The roadwork is expected to be completed by Thursday.Crews will work to repair slide damage until 5:30 today and tomorrow.Officials are asking drivers to be aware of the work zone, expect long delays, and potential road closures, while utilizing safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
