Santa Day Is Nearly Here

Santa Day is a yearly day of giving in Mt. Vernon and will be held on December 1 from 9:30 a.m. until noon.The event is hosted by Grateful Threadz Consignment, which tries to take some of the stress off of low-income families during the holidays.”There are a lot of families that struggle this time of year. You have a lot more bills because of cold weather…so we want to make sure that the children are able to get toys,” says Sherri Barnett, Manager of Grateful Threadz Consignment.Grateful Threadz is accepting food, toys and clothing donations.
