Save The Children Donates Books And Toys
In Clay County, a donation to the sheriff’s office is helping make things a little less stressful for children going through something traumatic. “The clay county sheriff’s department has partnered up with Save the Children. We have local people employed by Save the Children. They have donated bears, dogs, and books for us to keep in our cruisers so whenever we have a call and there is a small child we can give them a book to them and put them at ease,” said Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson. Save the Children donated more than a dozen crates filled with books, bags, and other items.
