Showcasing Safety Equipment

The Bluegrass Healthcare Coalition is compromised of agencies in 17 counties that all share the common mission of responding swiftly in the case of an emergency.At Blue Grass Airport Thursday, more than a dozen agencies showcased their equipment that would be used in an emergency.In the event of a natural disaster or mass casualty event, the agencies directly affected would request what resources they needed, then the coalition’s coordinator would help facilitate the movement of equipment, and in some cases, patients.Among the equipment showcased included a Blackhawk helicopter.
