Soil Problems Halt Jobs Promise
A major jobs promise is sitting on shaky ground because of soil issues making the promised 900 jobs with an average annual salary of more than $80,000 in doubt. Enerblu unveiled its new logo with great promise on Dec. 15, 2017, an even big enough to bring both Kentucky’s governor and Congressman to Pikeville. It even led to a new nickname, instead of Silicon Valley, Rep. Hal Rogers (R) called it “Silicon Holler.” At this point completion will be delayed until at least 2021.
