Special Election Results Are In
A special election in eastern Kentucky has named a new Senator to the Kentucky General Assembly. It’s being reported Republican candidate Phillip Wheeler defeated Darrell Pugh in the race to fill the 31st District Senate seat. Wheeler reportedly received 6,188 votes to Pugh’s 5,647. The 31st District encompasses Pike, Martin, Lawrence, Elliot and Morgan Counties.
