Spike in Nursing Home COVID Cases Leads Beshear to Create Task Force
As of Friday, the state’s COVID-19 totals are now 1693 and 90 deaths.
That’s an increase of more than 240 cases and 11 deaths just from Thursday.
The governor says 75 of the new cases are connected to 29 long-term care facilities across the state with 37 new cases in residents at long term care facilities, 38 new cases in staff and two new deaths.
Gov. Beshear announced Friday the creation of a long-term care advisory task force.
