Sschool Safety In Eastern KY

School safety is a top priority across Eastern Kentucky. “The safety of your family and your school family, all the staff, all the students is something that you take into consideration, and hold near and dear to your heart every single day,” said Letcher County Central High School Principal Gracie Maggard. Two of her teachers teamed up to make steel door jams for added classroom safety after one got the idea from something he saw online. Maggard says every classroom now has one.
