State Courts Reopening
State courts in Kentucky will reopen for hearings on civil and criminal cases starting next month, according to a new order.The proceedings will resume June 1, Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Minton Jr.has announced, more than two months after state courts closed due to the virus outbreak.Grand jury proceedings will also begin on June 1 while jury trials are still postponed until August, news outlets reported.
