Teaching Money Management
Kentucky State Treasurer Allison Ball announced a new bill to give teachers the tools to teach financial literacy. If the bill passes, House Bill 1-39 will translate into books, materials and training for teachers so they can educate students on money management.The goal is to teach Kentucky teens how to balance a checkbook, smart house buying decisions and how to spend less than you make.
