Traumatic Brain Injuries Increase In Kids
Traumatic brain injuries among children and teens in the United States are most often associated with everyday consumer products and activities, such as home furnishings and fixtures or sports, according to a new study.About 72% of traumatic brain injury-related emergency department visits among children are attributable to consumer products, found the study published in the journal Brain Injury on Monday. Some of the top products leading to brain injury include: floors, beds, football, stairs and bicycles.
